Rubix Training Ltd - Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Training

1. Rescheduling and Course Modifications

  • In exceptional circumstances, Rubix Training Ltd may need to reschedule a course after a booking has been confirmed. If the rescheduled dates are not suitable for the participant, our liability will be limited to a refund of the fees paid.
  • Rubix Training Ltd reserves the right to change the course location.
  • All intellectual property rights in the course materials and any content provided by Rubix Training Ltd remain the sole property of the company or its licensors. No part of the course materials may be copied or reproduced without express written consent.

2. Security and Conduct

  • Participants are required to adhere to all security protocols at the course location.
  • Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times. If a participant behaves disrespectfully towards the trainer or other participants, Rubix Training Ltd reserves the right to cease training. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
  • Trainers reserve the right to stop the training session if participants are found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

3. Cancellations

  • Full Refund: A full refund will be provided if written cancellation is received at least one month before the course start date.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations received between 16 and 30 days before the course will incur a 50% fee of the total course cost.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made between 0 and 15 days before the course or if a participant fails to attend without notice will result in a 100% fee being charged.
  • In cases where Rubix Training Ltd needs to cancel or reschedule a course, our liability is limited to a refund of fees paid.

4. Course Transfers

  • Transfers to an alternative course must be requested in writing at least 15 working days before the scheduled start date. A 15% administrative fee will apply to transfers made less than 15 working days before the course.
  • Any prepaid course fees will be applied to the tuition of the transferred course, subject to availability.
  • Rubix Training Ltd reserves the right to modify the course format, specification, and content without prior notice to participants, but will endeavor to inform participants of any changes as soon as possible.

5. Warranty and Liability

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable for the delegate’s requirements and skill level. Rubix Training Ltd does not take responsibility for any delegate’s inability to meet the course objectives.
  • Rubix Training Ltd’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the course out of which any claim arises.
  • Rubix Training Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profits or data, even if advised of the possibility of such losses.

6. On-Site Courses

  • Cancellations for on-site courses must be made in writing at least two weeks prior to the start date. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the full course fee.
  • Only the customer’s employees or directors are allowed to attend on-site courses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • The course content, schedule, and venue for on-site courses will be agreed between Rubix Training Ltd and the customer. The customer is responsible for providing the necessary resources and facilities as outlined by Rubix Training Ltd.
  • The customer will take all reasonable steps to safeguard Rubix Training Ltd personnel and any property brought to their premises during the course.

7. Booking and Payment Information

  • A pro-forma invoice will be issued once the booking has been confirmed. Full payment must be received at least four weeks prior to the course start date to guarantee the participant’s place.
  • For bookings made less than four weeks before the course start date, payment must be made via BACS or credit card. Cheques will not be accepted for late bookings.
  • In the event of a very late booking where payment has not been received prior to the course, only cash payments will be accepted on the day of the course via debit or credit card.
  • Payments should be made to: Rubix Training Ltd, The Wedgwood Big House, 1 Moorland Road, Burslem, Stoke On Trent, United Kingdom, ST6 1DJ. Please ensure to include the pro-forma invoice number with your payment.

8. Conflicts with General Terms

  • In the event of a conflict between these terms and Rubix Training Ltd's general terms and conditions, the terms set out in this document regarding the supply of training will take precedence.
