How Does Face Fit Testing Work?

Testing Process: The wearer is subjected to a subjective test where a bitter or sweet-tasting substance is sprayed inside a hood. Various movements and exercises are carried out to replicate work conditions. If the wearer doesn’t taste the substance, the seal is deemed effective. If they do, adjustments are made to the mask, and the test is repeated.

Duration: Each test lasts about 20 minutes per individual.

Suitability: This method is designed for half masks and disposable FFP masks.
