Our comprehensive 3-Day Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractors Training Course is designed to equip your team with both the theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed to safely and effectively remove licensed asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). The course is structured to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and industry standards, covering both safety and technical skills. - Health Hazards of Asbestos and Legislation: Learning about the serious health risks posed by asbestos and the relevant legal frameworks designed to protect workers and the public.
- Site Set-Up, Maintenance, and Dismantling: Practical exercises focused on setting up and maintaining a safe work environment, as well as the proper dismantling procedures once the removal is completed.
- Controlled Stripping Techniques: Participants will engage in practical demonstrations of controlled asbestos stripping techniques to ensure safe removal without spreading contamination.
- Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE): Hands-on training in the selection, use, and maintenance of respiratory protective equipment to safeguard against airborne asbestos fibres.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Practical demonstrations and training on the proper use of PPE, ensuring that participants understand the critical importance of protecting themselves during asbestos removal.

Candidates are required to demonstrate their understanding of the course material through modular tests. A minimum pass mark of 80% is required for all tests. In addition, candidates must complete the full decontamination procedure to pass the course.
